Fannie Battle Day Home for Children exists to continue the mission oset forth by Miss Fannie Battle in 1891. We endeavor to provide an invalualbe service to children of low-income and/or single-parent families who are working or furthering their education in order to maintain their independence. Our mission is to provide quality child care that encourages the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of each child in a safe and happy environment.
*Fannie Battle Day Home is the oldest child care center in Tennessee and the 2nd oldest in the Country.
*Tuition is set on a sliding scale according to income.
*Fannie Battle relies on donations to cover 50% of our operating budget.
