How long have you been in business?
CASA, Inc. was chartered in 1984, so we are in our 27th year as I am writing this.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide trained community volunteers as Court Appointed Special Advocates. They advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children through the juvenile court system that determines the safest, most permanent place for the children to live.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
CASA had two founding mothers: National Council of Jewish Women-Nashville Sector and the Junior League of Nashville. These two organizations partnered to establish the first CASA agency in Tennessee here in Nashville.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
CASA is the only organization the state of Tennessee has authorized through the Tennessee Code Annotated (TCA37-1-149)to provide court advocacy for abused and neglected children.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
CASA, Inc. serves Davidson County. There are a total of 27 CASA agencies throughout Tennessee providing services to 44 counties. Each agency operates independently.

What type of payments do you accept?
Donations can be made on our website at www.casa-nashville.org We accept all major credit cards or you are welcome to mail us a personal check. All donations are tax deductible. We have no income generating services and rely 100% on the community we serve for our support.
Which areas do you service?
Currently, we serve the abused and neglected children of Davidson County, TN.

CASA, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization governed by a 30 member board of directors.

Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
